The Ella J. Baker House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.

If you're interested in volunteering, call us at (617) 282-6704. Note that our preference is for small, consistent acts of volunteerism. We seek volunteers who have specific skills, a clear idea of how they can contribute, are self-directed, and have a plan of action.

Our ability to handle large groups of volunteers (i.e for "volunteer days", "Serve-a-thon"-type events) is very limited by the relatively small size of the Baker House building - it really is a house...
